The Ministry for the Youth – Kabataan ni Idro and Ministry on Social Services – Kasaka ni San Isidro Labrador, Inc. of the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador initiated the Project 1K BTS: Back-To-School Supplies for 1K Students which aims to give educational assistance through the primary school supplies by students who are in need. The giving of school supplies is an annual project of the two ministries to support the students in their education. For this year, the project aims to assist 1,000 students and have started the call for donation last July 2023.
The project was able to distribute 364 sets of school supplies. Though the 1,000 goal of was not reached, the ministries were able to aid 364 students from the Barangays of Labac, Dita, San Felipe, and Poblacion and the Lakeside Barangays of Calumayin, Don Juan, and Lumampao.
