Last April 11 and 18, 2023, the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) of the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador, Cuenca, Batangas in partnership with the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing – Manila Priory distributed bags of rice to poor families in Cuenca, Batangas. This activity is part of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters’ Lenten Charity who asked help from the Catholic Women’s League through Sis. Lolit Vargas and CWL Cuenca president Sis. Charity Caraan in distributing 40 bags of rice to 40 families in need.
As part of the Ministry on Social Services, the Lenten Charity of the Catholic Women’s League is included in the Brethren in Need program of the KaSaKa ni San Isidro Thematic Programs and Services.
