Last April 15, 2023, the Parish Ministry on Social Services started the Adopt-A-Child Scholarship Project, an Educational Assistance project under the Kaunlaran (Development) Program. This project is in coordination with the Lipa Archdiocesan Social Action Commission, Inc. and funded by the sisters from Mary Queen of Heaven Missionaries. The screening process and interview were done by the staff of the Lipa Archdiocesan Social Action Commission, Inc. The target beneficiaries who undergone the process were the 50 incoming Grade 7 Students from Cuenca Central School and San Felipe Elementary School.
The scholarship assistance is a continuous program that will shoulder the school supplies of the chosen students upon admission to Grade 7 until they finished Grade 12. The preliminary selection of the student-applicants was done through the help of the Principals, Dr. Lucky May Pasia of Cuenca Central School and Mrs. Nilda Chavez of San Felipe Elementary School.
Once the student-applicants passed the screening process and have been accepted, they will be receiving school every academic year, formation programs, and annual gathering.
