July 27, 2023 – The Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador Ministry on Social Services – KaSaKa ni San Isidro Labrador, Inc. went to Dalipit East Elementary School, Brgy. Dalipit East, Cuenca Batangas for its feeding activity.

As part of the Kasaka ni San Isidro Labrador, Inc.’s effort to serve the community in coordination with the local government, we joined the Cuenca MSWDO in celebrating the closing of the Nutrition Month with the theme, “Healthy Diet, Gawing Affordable for All!” at the Municipal Gym of Cuenca together with the Municipal Nutrition Council last July 26, 2023. The organization was tasked to lead the soup kitchen/feeding activity and was able to provide 100 servings of Lugaw to the attendees. In addition, we were able to give food packs to 21 identified malnourished children and boxes of Vitamin C to all attendees including the families of the malnourished children, MSWDO staff, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Council, and some Brgy. officials.

The Ministry on Social Services of the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador held its midyear assembly, last June 25, 2023, to update the members and stakeholders regarding the program, projects, services, and activities done during the first half of the year. It was attended by the organizations and committees under the Ministry on Social Services together with the Barangay Pastoral Council Coordinators.

Last June 7-9, 2023, the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador Ministry on Social Services (KaSaKa ni San Isidro, Inc.) joined the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) South Luzon IPCC Training and Conference held at Paseo Premiere Hotel, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

May 23, 2023 – The Parish and Shrine Ministry on Social Services (KaSaKa ni San Isidro) served the community through its Food Security under the Kaginhawaan Program.

Last April 11 and 18, 2023, the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) of the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador, Cuenca, Batangas in partnership with the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing – Manila Priory distributed bags of rice to poor families in Cuenca, Batangas. This activity is part of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters’ Lenten Charity who asked help from the Catholic Women’s League through Sis. Lolit Vargas and CWL Cuenca president Sis. Charity Caraan in distributing 40 bags of rice to 40 families in need.

Last April 15, 2023, the Parish Ministry on Social Services started the Adopt-A-Child Scholarship Project, an Educational Assistance project under the Kaunlaran (Development) Program.

Last March 13, 2023, the KaSaKa ni San Isidro Labrador Parish Ministry on Social Services of the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador distributed merienda to 320 pupils from Cuenca Central School. Pupils from Kinder to Grade 2 were served Jollibee Chicken ala king pie and juice packs as part of the ministry’s Food Security Program.
