The Kasama sa Kaayusan, Kaunlaran, at Kaginhawaan ni San Isidro Labrador, Inc., as the Parish and Shrine Ministry on Social Services of the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador, is the social services arm of the Ministry on Social Services of the Archdiocese of Lipa in Cuenca, Batangas. With the ever-growing needs in the society, we are asked to be more active in helping those in need by becoming stewards of the earthly goods, not only of the spiritual life of the people. By doing charitable works in various aspects, the laity are called to be of service to other, by sharing time, talent, and treasure. With this, the people are called to partake in this mission, especially those who do not have enough time or talent to share but have resources to share. Despite the activities and programs offered by the parish ministry on social services, nothing can be done without enough fund to begin with. Thus, this resource mobilization programs helps to sustain the programs and services of the ministry through the generosity of the people.
KaSaKa ni San Isidro Resource Mobilization Program
The resource mobilization program is called KaSaKa (Kasama sa Kaayusan, Kaunlaran, at Kaginhawaan) ni San Isidro. This resource mobilization program of the PMSS seeks to invite people to be “Kasaka” (co-workers in the farm) of San Isidro by becoming generous donors for the thematic programs and services of the ministry by having a bond of close communion where temporal goods are shared since the people of God are called upon to share their goods[1], as how St. Peter mentioned “according to the gift that each has received, administer it to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God[2]”. This is a financial pledge system monthly for a year, renewable, depending on the choice of the donors. The amount that may be pledged monthly by the donors may be Php 250.00, Php 500.00, Php 1,000.00, Php 1,500.00, and Php 2,000.00. Donors may opt to give more than their pledged amount or range given.
