The Ministry on Social Services of the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of San Isidro Labrador held its midyear assembly, last June 25, 2023, to update the members and stakeholders regarding the program, projects, services, and activities done during the first half of the year. It was attended by the organizations and committees under the Ministry on Social Services together with the Barangay Pastoral Council Coordinators.
The coordinator, Bro. Renniel Jayson Jacinto Rosales, gave the Coordinator’s Report dealing on the finances, KaSaKa Donors, official website and Facebook page, awards received, partnerships, focus of the ministry for the first half and the number of beneficiaries served. The highlight of the report is the legalization of the ministry as an organization. The Parish Ministry on Social Services has been duly registered as a non-stock non-profit organization at Securities and Exchange Commission dated June 16, 2023, under the name Kasama sa Kaayusan, Kaunlaran, at Kaginhawaan ni San Isidro Labrador, Inc.



After the Coordinator’s Report, the organization and committee heads gave their report on the updates regarding their past and upcoming activities of their respective group: Sis. Elvira Jobli for Parish Pastoral Health Care Volunteers and Alay Kapwa Committee; Sis. Issa Marie Calanoga for the Ministry for the Youth; and Sis. Charity Caraan for the Catholic Women’s League.
Following the Organization and Committee Reports, a short talk on Project/Program Proposal was given by the coordinator to guide the members in doing proposals for their future projects and activities. Program management was also discussed based on the discussion of the Ministry on Social Services-AL Chairman, Rev. Fr. Jayson T. Siapco. The Midyear assembly ended with some announcements on the future plans of the ministry especially on the processing of the accreditation as a Non-Government Organization (NGO), upcoming events and activities, preparation for the strategic planning for 2024 and World Day of the Poor 7, and the points from the Ministry Chairman and Archbishop Garcera.
Before leaving, vitamins were distributed for the pastoral workers in the barangay chapels.
